Perform with André Rieu

World
renowned Dutch violinist, conductor and composer
André Rieu brings his
unique brand of chart topping classical music to America with the
“Celebration of Music” 2010
North American Tour, which launched Friday, June
18th at New York’s Nassau Coliseum.
Prior
to the June 18th performance at the Coliseum, Andre Rieu and his
own 55-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra treated fans to a
preview hosted by the TODAY Show on the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
St. Dominic Academy Dominoes and their Director of Choirs, Joseph Napoli,
were at the Plaza to welcome Rieu and to display the enthusiasm of the SDA
Dominoes (Jersey City) and the boys from St. John the Apostle School (Clark)
for their participation in the opening concert of the 2010 American Tour.
For the Nassau Coliseum tour launch date,
Rieu
and his Orchestra were joined on stage by the young women from Jersey
City’s Saint Dominic Academy
Dominoes Choir,
as well as boys from 4th
- 6th grade at Saint John
the Apostle School Choir in Clark, New Jersey.
Together, they performed Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” as a special tribute
to the late singer.
