Vocation Directors and Communicators meet in Blauvelt.
On April 17, 2012 the Communicators and Vocation Directors from Amityville, Blauvelt, Caldwell, Hope, and Sparkill held a joint meeting in Blauvelt with Mary Ellen O'Grady, OP, Promoter of Collabration. We explored possibilities of vocation promotion in this millennium. Facebook? In the past, we would not have known what it was! Now social media is a good friend to communication and vocation directors.

Sister Mary Ellen writes: "I arrived in mid-January and have been so warmly welcomed that I have not noticed the winter cold. My hope is to gather members of the five congregations engaged in Committed Collaboration in established committees, groups, congregation events to discover the hopes of the sisters and associates for this new moment and how I may assist all of you In moving forward to further our Dominican mission.
