Caldwell Dominicans have a long history
of commitment to promoting the health
and sustainability of all life -
including the very life of Earth,
our home planet.

 

• We live our Corporate Stance on Non-Violence which includes a strong commitment to eradicate violence against the earth, to instill respect and love for our planet, for its bounteous resources, and for all its creatures.
   

• Genesis Farm provides leadership in Earth Literacy and Eco-Justice.  The programs and events sponsored by the Farm promote deepening reverence and care for our Earth and all life.
   

• Our Universe and Creation Committee was established in 1995 following the Chapter approval of our Vision Statement.
   

• The Lighting the Way program empowered us to place 648 solar panels on roofs on our Motherhouse grounds - providing an exciting way for our Caldwell Dominican Congregation to live more deeply its commitment to all life on our home planet. It is our hope that this installation will encourage other congregations and religious institutions to follow our lead.
