Please bring brown bag lunch , stay and have some more quiet time

What is your image of Mary? Where do these images come from?
In this workshop we will strive to see Mary as a human being, a real person.
Respecting her role in Scripture as the Mother of Jesus, we will consider her life
as a child of Ann and Joachim, a pregnant teenage, a spouse of Joseph, a Mother,
and most of all OUR Mother and model. Please bring a Bible.

JOURNEY IN PRAYER

Saturday, May 3                         9:30am – 12:30pm                     Fee: Free will offering

Explore the various ways that you encounter God. This gentle morning will be spent reflecting on the many ways that we relate to God, the Creative Source of all life. Suggestions will be offered about how we can continue to grow in our prayer life and in our intimate relationship with the Mystery of God.

HEALING THE WHOLE FAMILY:

This workshop is a journey that follows a map of our life and how our family has influenced us and how we have influenced them. It is allowing you time to be reflective and address issues in a gentle yet prayerful way. The hope is that the time spent will give insight and be rewarding.

MUSING ON NATURE:

Drawing on the wisdom of Thoreau, Muir, and Merton, this day weaves a tapestry of oneness with God, nature, and one another. Come and experience their wisdom and relevance for your life today and how nature can awaken your soul to living more fully. Through word, music, and image, participants are drawn into a way of reconnecting with the gift of nature. There will be time for silence, reflection, and sharing. Give yourself this time for inner renewal.
